MEET GUILLERMO “WILLY” SILVA

Guillermo Silva, a proud native of Southern California, has been a valued resident of Jurupa Valley since 1988, where he has made his home in the scenic Mira Loma area. His strong connection to the community is exemplified by his election to the City Council in December 2020.

Guillermo's educational journey began at Sky Country Elementary and continued through Mira Loma Middle School and Jurupa Valley High School. He earned an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from San Joaquin Valley College (SJVC) in 2006. Alongside his supportive wife, Lissette, with whom he has shared 18 years of marriage, Guillermo is a devoted father of four, reinforcing his commitment to making Jurupa Valley their permanent home.

His dedication to community service and leadership is evident in his active participation in various organizations. As a member of the Jurupa District Lions Club and a former planning commissioner for two and a half years prior to his City Council role, Guillermo consistently seeks to make a positive impact. His commitment to youth sports, demonstrated through extensive volunteer work, highlights his passion for empowering the younger generation.

With a strong commitment to service and community engagement, Guillermo, affectionately known as Willy, continues to set a high standard for leadership in Jurupa Valley.
