MEET GUILLERMO “WILLY” SILVA

Guillermo, a proud Southern California native, has been a beloved resident of Jurupa Valley since 1988, calling the picturesque Mira Loma area his home. His deep connection to the community is evident through his recent election as a City Council member in December 2020. 

Having attended Sky Country Elementary, Mira Loma Middle, and Jurupa Valley High School, Guillermo's educational journey culminated in earning his Associate's Degree in Business Administration from San Joaquin Valley College (SJVC) in 2006. Alongside his supportive wife Lissette, with whom he shares a loving 18-year marriage, Guillermo is the proud father of four beautiful children, solidifying his commitment to Jurupa Valley as their forever home. 

Guillermo's dedication to community service and leadership shines through his active involvement in various organizations. As a devoted member of the local Jurupa District Lions Club and having served as a planning commissioner for 2 1/2 years prior to his City Council position, Guillermo's passion for making a positive impact is unwavering. His profound commitment to youth sports is exemplified by his volunteer work, showcasing his unwavering dedication to empowering the younger generation. 

With a heart full of dedication and a spirit driven by service, Guillermo, known affectionately as Willy, continues to lead by example in Jurupa Valley, setting a high standard for community engagement and leadership.
